When I think Cinderella, I think pumpkin and glass slippers and the fat little mouse that collected cubes of cheese on its head before Lucifer the cat tried to chase him down the mouse hole. But detailed as my memory is for this rag to riches tale, I'm having trouble recovering the part where Cinders gets a deal with Playboy.
Exposed as part of a 10 agent spy-ring whilst working undercover in the United States, Anna Chapman is the poor Russian spy who is reportedly posing for Playboy to settle her debts. Photographed in the Metro in a pale blue doll’s dress and glitzy tiara, Chapman, 28, looks a butter-wouldn’t-melt Cinderella in disguise.
But despite being deported back to Russia Chapman, like the fairytale princess herself, has become an enigmatic sex symbol. Action figurines (one topless) and various film and questionable television offers are in the pipeline, whilst seedy looking underlings are coming forward to sell their stories of heady affairs with the gun toting redhead.
The ugly sisters are said to be furious.
